Shmooze is an online platform for social networking that people and organizations can customize to make connections with each other, to collaborate on projects, and to share content in a controlled and easy-to-manage way.

Although Shmooze software has thousands of possible uses for any purpose under the sun, we have decided to apply it first to further the interests of Jewish community and education, create connections among Jews in the Diaspora and the State of Israel.

Shmooze starts with individuals, enabling members to define themselves and their interests, sharing their photos and creating blogs. Members can also create controlled access personal groups that enable them to create closed or open discussion forums and share files of all kinds with their friends and business associates.

Members also can enjoy access to a variety of high quality content about Israel and Jewish culture, including photo collections, online courses, ebooks, music and movies.

If you manage an organization or business, Shmooze lets you set up groups for your enterprise, including blogs, discussion forums and file collections, including the ability to create sub-groups and to sell and advertise products and services. You can command a powerful tool to communicate with your members or your customers.

Organizations pay a licensing fee for a secure, full-service online community for their members or customers, but everyone can try before they buy. Soon Shmooze will be fully customizable to achieve consistency with the branding and interests of partners.

Shmooze is developed in Israel by Koret Communications, a privately-held Israel company, in partnership with the Jewish Agency for Israel and leading foundations and not-for-profit organizations. We welcome inquiries from new partners.
